Hey y'all!

I live in the uppermidwest in the US and we're quickly closing the gap of fall weather to winter weather and I'm in need of a nice, warm winter jacket.

But I'm picky, I find that down/puffy coats make me feel like the staypuft marshmallow woman, I would like something that's a bit longer so when the icey wind blows it doesn't go directly up my jacket and to my hips (I have arthritic hips and cold is one of my biggest enemies), and I would like something that I can fully zip/button up as well as layer up underneath, with longer sleeve lengths and a nice bonus if it has a nice hood (but not a deal breaker as I knit and crochet and have plenty of hats/scarves) I currently have a Target house brand wool coat from 3 years ago that hits just above my knees and is plenty warm but it leaves my chest exposed and I am unfortunately too heavy to fit into it any longer when layered up with sweaters, vests, and a scarf.

my ideal price range is around $100, cheaper would be wonderful if it's possible.

Thanks in advance!
