Hey, I was wondering if anyone has any advice re: my astronomical electric bill. This month, it was almost $400 dollars. It is a small apartment, and I have three roommates. I live in Philadelphia, and most of my friends in similar situations report paying far less, even those who also have central air. Also, we definitely used the AC less in the past month than the month before, but the amount was higher. When I moved in, I was assuming utilities were around $100/month; the closer everything creeps towards $200, the harder it is to keep up with.
We share an address with the salon our apartment is above, and I am wondering if it is feasible for there to be any mixup with that? My roommates seem pretty unbothered, but even when I lived at home with my four person family bills rarely managed to hit $300.
