I am a member of Anytime Fitness and it was like 48 a month for access with a key fob to multiple gyms. I found out through a friend my Blue Cross Blue Shield Anthem health insurance will cover a part. I had to sign up through another company called Global Fit. But the nice part is that the yearly assessment doesn't apply to me either now.
Not sure if this is common knowledge, but if you have health insurance and a gym membership see if you can get a reduced rate. I would also like to say that going to the gym is Frugal because being healthy is the best thing you can do to avoid gigantic costs in the future.
