In the next week and a half or so I am going to be wiring parts of my house for CAT6 Ethernet. It is a 1951 home that is wired for coaxial. I DO NOT want to use power line or MoCa adapters. I’m positive that the coax isn’t stapled into the wall. Would it be possible to take the coax wall box out, tie the end of the Ethernet to the coax with fish tape? Then I would push the Ethernet down next to the coax. And pull from the basement. Then make a coax and an Ethernet jack. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you have any other recommendations please leave them. Thanks! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2ytZ2Ee
