I'm sure this has been discussed before, but things change, so I'm asking again. I also know this can vary a lot thanks to location, job, personal preference, etc, but I really like having actual numbers as a point of reference. So, discuss? I'd be interested in hearing about how much you spend on x item and why.
It's only been about a year in the workforce for me, after college, so I'm sure these numbers will change, but for me:
- Up to $50 on work dresses
- Around $30 for work pants
- $20 for work shirts
- $100 for shoes, but no hard limit, really...
- Budget for "fun" stuff is highly variable tbh
