Hey guys, been using a tool I built to keep my Google Spread Sheet synced with financial data listed on various websites so as to make it easier to make quick calculations as and when needed to.
I created the following data source which I scheduled to run on a daily basis
https://getdata.io/data-sources/7841-list-of-mortgage-reits-reit-notes?utm_source=reddit_investing
It pulls its data from the following site which provides a constantly updated list of mortgage REIT yields
https://www.reitnotes.com/reit-sector/Mortgage
I then synced up the following Google sheet to always display the latest data from the site.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GiSd_WUQyO8seNAGhBqOOIthce4TVrlkm3Cj9Cedci4/edit?usp=sharing
The main reason why I did this was because I observed a significant drop in the prices of some of the MReit positions I am holding over the past few days and wanted to do a quick sanity check to see if the drop was due to micro shifts in my positions or macro shifts in the economy.
Hope you might find this useful as well. :)
