Hi everyone. So for 5 years I've been using the remote for my garage door opener, a liftmaster 1/2hp chain drive unit, to open the door, and the keypad outside of the garage to close it.Last month I bought a new car that lives in the garage. I programmed the homelink button in the car and took the time to program a code into the keypad outside the garage as well. Since, I've used all 3 almost every day without issue.Tonight, I opened the garage with the keypad, pulled the car out, tried to close the door with the homelink button and nothing. Get out of the car, walk up to the keypad, nothing(the keypad blinks about 30 times when you hit the enter button to close it). Grab the door remote, nothing.I try to reprogram all 3, light flicks to signify the opener linked for remote and keypad but not for the homeline button.none of them will close the garage still.Go to the door control on the wall in the garage. Lock is not on and the wall button operates the door fine. After fiddling with all the buttons for a while, remote and keypad magically work but still no homelink.I go for a drive and come back, open the door with the remote, try to program the homelink button again, this time it works. Close the door, try to open it 2 minutes later, keypad and remote won't open it. Walk away for about an hour, come back, keypad works fine and opens and closes the door. Before I install a new opener, does anyone have any ideas on what's going on? Possible circuit board issue or any other ideas?Tax of what lives in the garage for any gearheads. https://ift.tt/2NzYdyg via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2Nz4rP9
