We have an old steel-craft garage door opener (I don't know the model number but it says 1/3 hp) the house is about 25 years old, and it's probably original.Anyway, we wanted a second remote opener, so went out and bought a Chamberlain universal remote (Klik3c-ss). Our opener wasn't listed on their compatible list, but we eventually got it to pair anyway, yay. However, (it's like a sitcom I swear) our door started opening when the neighbors got home and opened their doors lol! We've unpaired the remote by programming it wrong essentially, but it's still happening. For now, the door is locked to remotes so it's fine, but obviously this can't be a permanent solution.Any ideas how to fix it?
