I found the perfect things at Goodwill for my daughter's Halloween costume! The never worn dress still had the tags on it was only $7. The oversized, fully feathered (front and back) angel wings that are basically the size of her entire body we're only $12, also still in their original bag having been never used. There was a feather halo headband, still in the bag, for $1.50. Perfect. I was able to use leftover holographic duct tape to make straps for her perfectly matching trick or treat bag made from remnant fabric I found for $3.99. White fabric with delicate silver glitter. Perfect. I made her some Minnie Mouse ears out of cardboard and cotton, so they look like clouds. I glued them to the headband and reused a gift wrap bow for that iconic Minnie Mouse bow in the middle. I found blue glitter Keds at Walmart on sale for $5. She's going to be absolutely adorable at Mickey's not-so-scary Halloween Party. The cost of those tickets only made my costuming win all the more worthwhile.
