Hi everyone! I’m about to start my second trimester on a tight budget & am looking for maternity wear. It’s my first pregnancy and I’m the first of my friends to be pregnant so I don’t really know where to start! I’ve looked online at ASOS and old navy a little but thought you ladies might have some advice.
I am also pretty into slow fashion and try to make or thrift most of my clothes, and buy ethical when I do occasionally purchase. Maternity wear, because it’s for a relatively short period where your body changes a ton, doesn’t really fit that wardrobe mode. I thought about trying to thrift but I think that might be hard, especially for pants.. Any suggestions for silhouettes or specific pieces of clothing that work well for maternity and are easily thriftable? Or brands which are particularly good & affordable? Im a grad student and I like to dress semi-professionally, although I do have some flexibility there.
