I recently got in an accident and I haven't called my insurance where I rear ended someone. The guy says it will be $1822.41. I have $5000 in an emergency account and I can pay this out of pocket. Would it be best long term to do this? How will this accident effect my insurance?

I have Geico and currently pay $468.80 every 6 months. I've never made a claim or been in an accident before. I also have a recent speeding ticket (first ticket after 8 years of driving) that I plan on hiring a lawyer to try and fight. I guess it's been a rough month driving for me. Googling a bit led me to believe that these two together could have a larger effect on my insurance. If any other info is needed I can provide it. Looking for some advice.

Edit: Digging a little deeper Geico does say I have a Parked/Parking claim in 2016. I think this was from when a golf ball broke my windshield while my car was parked. I don't believe they ever paid for the windshield though.

Edit2: I also have a 5 year good driver discount through Geico for 49$ per 6 months which I imagine will go away. How long do accidents typically effect insurance and what will it cost me in the long run versus paying out of pocket?

Edit3: Noticed I have accident forgiveness as well.
