I once visited a friend in a hospital for a surgery I cannot share here for privacy reasons, his health insurance from his job paid for it.
I can tell you that this hospital was gloomy, there was no TV, no music, no Internet, no windows, the color of the walls were bleak, the bed wasn't comfortable, it was a terrible hospital.
I'm frugal because I want all the money I save to go to my end of life care, I want to die in a comfortable hospital, on a comfy bed, watching my favorite movies, listening to my favorite music, surfing the internet, I want to die in luxury surrounded by my loved ones.
