Dave Ramsey says you can get by on a zero credit score. This seems unrealstic to me. He always says "I couldn't get a corporate apartment, but I could write a check for it and buy it." That's great for a wealthy person, but for most Americans this isn't an option and they can't necessarily stay away from corporate owned properties. He also talks about manual underwriting for a house, wouldn't that make it more expensive? Is it realistic to not have a credit score? Could most people get by?
