This is in the state of Virginia. Obtaining copies of medical records at this cardiologist’s office has a fee of $25 minimum but if it’s 100+ pages they charge $100. Sounds absurd, no?
EDIT: This is for my wife. We need the records so that we can file our own insurance claims for services received during FY17 (October2017-September2018) because we were cash-paying patients at the time. I guess technically we might not need them but when we filed claims similarly last year, the insurance company (TRICARE) kicked it back requesting copies of records.
