I want to replace the carpet in my basement with wood floors. The main room of the basement (20’x14’) has a slope to it where three corners are all just under 7 feet tall but one corner is 86 inches tall (so 2-3 inches lower then the others). The slope is very gradual all the way across the room from the other corner. Is it realistically possibly to self level this? It seems like a ton of cement. If the floor is flat enough just not level can I still get away with putting in wood floors? House was build in the late 1940s if that matters. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2yc4V91
