I have around $1200 in travel points... for flight only. Unfortunately that means no matter where I go, I'm paying an arm and a leg for hotels.
I've looked up just about everywhere and 60+ a night seems to be the standard across the board, with lots of hidden fees and taxes packed on.
Is there any good cheap destination out there just to get away for a week? Either that or I bite the bullet and convert these points to Amazon gift cards which is pretty much 1/3 the value of using them for flights. But if the hotel is going to cost me 500+ anyway it's not that much of a loss.
