https://ift.tt/2NGavFw had our bathroom done a few months ago and we had our cieling and a wall reskimmed. Finally got around to decorating it and woke to to this this morning. There's air pockets behind the plaster and the paint is peeling around those pockets. We lined the wall so didn't see it there but painted straight on to the cieling.50/50 watered down coat then x2 coats of emulsion. Used to be a decorator, so done this plenty of times, don't think it's the paint that's the problem. Plaster was definitely dry in a well ventilated bathroom.I think it's because he didn't bond it properly, we had to fix a load of other things and asked him to leave early because we wasn't happy with the work. What's the easiest way to fix this without being redone? I'm thinking to either pop the pockets, hope they don't go to far and skim it with lightweight filler. Or just line the cieling and hope the whole thing doesn't fall down with the weight of the paper.Thanks. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2Pytxzg
