For the last couple months I've been betting 10% of the portfolio to the rants of r/wallstreetbets and surpringly came out 14% up. But serious investing isn't about memes and shitposts. From the mouths of daytraders and long time passive investors that I've ''interviewed'' one piece of advice repeatedly showed up on all of them. Do your own research. But how? Going to market analysts in the paper and TV is said to be biased and mostly based on speculation.
Not looking for stock recommendations or plays to contracts to buy. Just need some research advice that goes beyond looking at the P/E and Market Cap in the trading app.
