https://ift.tt/2Nc7YHI recently moved into a rented flat in Birmingham and want to create some privacy in the small outdoor area we have.Initially, when we moved in there was a flimsy wooden trellis I was aiming to affix a brushwood screen to using heavy duty zip ties. Unfortunately, the trellis has completely broken in the wind.As it's rented accommodation I'm looking for a semi permanent method of fixing it. I've attached pictures instead of trying to describe the space. What I would like to do, is cut a wooden badminton trellis to size and glue it on three sides before affixing the brushwood screen to that. I'm not sure how realistic this plan would be though. The other option, would be to glue a single 'post' of wood along each side, and then glue/nail the trellis to that. That may be a better idea it would give me more surface area to affix the glue. This is made slightly more complicated by the fact the second area is 'open' on the far side thus only supported in an L shape and I would need to put in an extra piece to replace the missing stone. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2CYuVti
