- Graduated in 2015 with a law degree from a mediocre university.
- Been living with my parents since, at £120/month.
- Working on a zero-hours contract (full time hours) taking home £1000-£1500/month.
- Aim to put £1,000/month into ISA but don't always manage - temptations.
- No car - can't drive (expensive in the UK).
- Saved £30,000 - currently in an ordinary ISA.
- 5.6% income/month into an NHS pension.
Is there anything low risk I can do with my money to make it grow? Would like to keep SOME accessible rainy day money for now, but returns from any other investments not required any time soon, provided the gains will be decent.
Ambivalent on buying a house, but would try if it DEFINITELY made me money - not that I'd be accepted for a mortgage with my current job.
