Went with the GF to Target, thought I would grab an umbrella while I was there. It's been awfully rainy and my rain jacket has been given to her - since she believes wet hair is her enemy. Cost for a travel sized umbrella: $15.
Went to the thrift store afterward...found umbrella of the same size in a more preferable color for $0.90.
I am glad I didn't settle. So are the landfill and personal bank account.
