Currently have a position in TAN. It has lost 9% so far and it seems to be dropping slightly so I may increase when I feel it has bottomed out.

I’m more or less wondering wether any of you “not a financial planners,” out there look at solar ETF’s as a good long term investment. (10-20 years) I do believe solar or other types of renewables will eventually be the future of the energy sector but I want to know if betting on the sector as a whole(through ETF) is a good bet or if there are singular solar companies to buy stocks of that are a better bet. I am just messing around with a few different funds and stocks on Robinhood. I have a healthy 401k and also a pension but want to use my Robinhood account as the more riskier and expeditionary investing account.

Any opinion on the matter is welcomed.
