We're rolling over my wife's Roth 401k account from her old employer into a Roth IRA. However, in trying to do so it asks if I want to pay taxes on the pre-tax contributions. All of her contributions were after tax, so I'm assuming the pre-tax is from the employer match. Should we pay taxes on the rollover on the distribution check or if we opt to not do so now what will happen? Will it show up on our taxes at the end of the year for 2018, or will it get taxed when we finally withdraw at age 60+? We live in a state with no income tax so it's only federal that we have to consider. Thank you in advance!
