A little while ago, one of my friends asked for my advice about factor ETFs and investing. I didn't know too much about it so all I could advise him was to look at how the ETFs's portfolio of companies' shares are setup.
This was the factors ETF portfolio he came up with. He hasn't invested in it yet: https://imgur.com/a/c32WsRa
While he already has 401k, IRA, a large portfolio of index funds, and some stocks, I find his M1 Finance portfolio to be odd, but I don't know enough to explain what might be wrong and how to adjust it.
EDIT: I haven't asked him why he has factor ETFs from three different companies. Two ETFs for emerging market, one ETF for small-cap US, two multi-factor ETFs for US, and double ETFs for quality, momentum and value. Maybe he couldn't decide which ones' strategy was better and decided to go nuts with diversification.
