Hey guys. I’m realizing I need to start doing something with the money I have in the bank. I want to start investing but don’t know where or really how to get started. I don’t know how I feel about financial advisors. I have a little background in asset pricing from actuarial Work and am currently in a master of statistics program. Which brings me to another question, how do u determine what to invest in? Do you typically do your own analysis? Rely on the expertise of others, if so who? Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!
