I purchased this truck in 2004 from a private party that used it as a work truck. I bought it with 22,000 miles on it. The 22R engine has been rock solid for 14 years. With proper maintenance, I believe it should last at least 10 more years. It now has 144,000 mostly city miles since I don't go on many long trips with it. Still dependable as the day I got it. I was thinking of selling it when I buy a newer vehicle (probably a 4Runner) but now I just want to see if I can put 1,000,000 miles on it and how long it will take me.
