Just found out my wife's identity was stolen! They opened a credit card and a checking account in her name, and are spending it all on jewellery and casinos!

We checked our credit score, it went from excellent to good because of an extra $1000 of debt and numerous inquiries we never made. We reported the fraud to Experian, are obtaining an affidavit from the FTC, and plan to it to file a police report.

What else should we do? How can we successfully contest the accounts fraudulently created?

Any agencies you'd recommend we contact for help so we can put this nonsense behind us?
