Ours is changing its pricing structure as of Monday. Everything will be $1.29/lb. now except for shoes, which will be $1.59. (Which I find bizarre as there are always scads of crusty old shoes which evidently go unsold.) I think books are still 50 cents for hardcover, 25 for paperback. No more 99-cent electronics, though. sniffle
I do art projects with glass and ceramics and will really miss the .49/lb. glassware price. A lot of times, I'd buy stuff I liked even if I didn't have a plan for it at the moment. I'll have to be a bit more judicious now. :-(
On the upside, hopefully they'll end up with so much unsold merchandise that they'll do more weekend discount days!
