My thought is that as China and US continue to ratchet up tariffs and retaliatory measures trade will decline between the two and go to other countries instead. My thoughts for countries/regions with potential to gain from this would be Mexico and LatAm in general as well as Africa. Mexico/LatAm/Africa could supply USA with more cheap low skill goods currently produced in China. Other potential winners could be South Korea Taiwan and Japan for high skilled tech suppliers. Thoughts?
