PicturesI'm obviously removing all the cushions/fabric, glue, staples, and bolts first. Who ever did this chair up did a real number on it. Glue everywhere. It's also got normally finished/varnished parts... and parts that have what I think is lacquer? I'm obviously going to smooth and clean up the carved details first. But as to the stuff on the wood: do I just scuff it up: then primer: then black. Or do I need to completly remove everything from the wood first? If so, what is this stuff on it? Once I know what it is, I'm happy to google removal methods for myself. Thanks! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2NmoLb7
