This is my first time away from home cooking entirely for myself. Honestly, I have very little idea of how much is normal to spend per week. I'm averaging around $50, with a decent amount of vegetables and variety... am I overspending?

Edited: Wow I really hadn't anticipated so much helpful information- this made my day, thanks so much everyone!

As for more helpful info- I'm in a suburban area of Tennessee. The only "fresh" veggies I've been buying is lettuce for salads, and all the rest canned or frozen. I've also been getting sandwich stuff, ground beef, and canned chicken for recipes and casseroles (college student with super limited time). I've also been making lots of pasta, and rice and beans that I've been mixing canned veggies into. Also, the $50 includes toiletries and cleaning supplies.
