Hello all,
I have been motivated to achieve a debt free lifestyle. I was lucky enough to become trapped with student loans and credit cards at the same time. Since February of this year, I have paid over $14,000 to my student loan balance of $20,000 and somewhere near $2,000 for cards.
In the coming weeks I am about to take on about $4,000 for dental work that was not expected. I will have the money to pay for it in cash, but it's discouraging because it could have went towards my debt. Instead I made a mistake that could have been avoided by more attentive brushing.
How do you stay motivated when you make expensive mistakes?
