As the days get shorter I'd like to install a set of floodlights mounted on a 30 ft (above ground, will add length as needed) telephone pole in front of my barn. I will be securing the pole with concrete, but I am unsure as to how deep I should be digging the hole. Currently I'm planning on six feet, but I am unsure if this is overkill or insufficient, especially given the soft, silty soil we have in the area and its propensity to become waterlogged in heavy rain.Location: Oklahoma. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2DqxiVU
