My father, 73 years old who is still working close forty hours a week as a dental technician asked me for help to consolidate his credit card debt into one easy payment. I know little to nothing on how to handle this and did what research I could. I got his credit score (at602) and looked up a few places that could make a loan but none accepted. The only place I’ve seen that would is a called one main financial but I’ve seen nothing but pages after pages of horror stories about this place.
I desperately want to help my father, who not only raised me, my two older sisters and my younger who isn’t blood related. Last Christmas he had an ulcer which had put him out of work for a month, this causing him to dip into his credit cards to pay for bills, food and etc. He’s a great human being and a wonderful father, I just want to be sure I find something that won’t make matters worse. We live in AZ if that’s any help for recommendations.
