Hey all, I'm actually a handy guy and have replaced many a door handle and various door hardware. I'm a trained auto mechanic and have done a few cosmetic renovations on our homes, so this is killing me I can't figure this out!https://ift.tt/2PFCiY9 above door handle is throughout our house and we want to replace them. The knob comes off easy enough, but the trim plate is a mystery. There doesn't seem to be a way to remove the trim plate that appears to be held on by a set screw. It only appears that way because of the opening in the small collar. I've spun that collar around and used a flashlight to loo for any sort of set screw, Allen or flathead, but to no avail.Does anyone have a clue about these late 70s door handles?Thankful,Stumped via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2MO3KpN
