I have two computers I want to back up, with about 90 GB on one to back up and about 12 GB on another.
Down the road, I hope to store more photos and music as well, so I'll want more than just 120 GB. That said, given it has taken me 20 years to get to 100 GB (much of which is stuff I don't really need) I doubt I'll ever have need for more than 500 GB unless my music recording goes into high gear (at which point I will buy something for that).
I'm looking for the solution that finds a reasonably optimal point between cost, reliability, headache minimization, and consumer ethics. Roughly in that order.
