The power button on my ZTE Blade Z982 slowly stopped working on me over about a week. I went to the MetroPCS store where I got it, but they said with the ZTE/Trump espionage business they no longer carried ZTE products, and recommended I get another brand of phone, the cheapest of which was $99. Well, my phone was working beautifully save for a broken button, so I googled around, and found the circuit responsible for the button sold for $5. Bought it from China, followed a video to pop my phone open, and swapped out the circuit (all press-fits, no soldering).

Bada bing bada boom, my phone is working like new!
