What are some projects I should avoid doing myself?I already know I will be hiring out for all electrical and plumbing just for peace of mind, but I am planning to do as much as possibly by myself. I have seen it mentioned several places to avoid doing drywall, what is the reason for that? Budget is tight and will most likely end up being drawn out over 3-5 years, but we need the extra space.I am hoping I can do the framing myself, have a friend do the electrical, hire out for plumbing/heating, paint myself, flooring myself, trim and doors myself, etc.In the end the area will consist of 2 bedrooms, bathroom, living room, and utility room.
