Hi r/DIY! Please forgive me as there are most likely mistakes, but I am hoping to get the input of this amazing community. This is my first time using Sketchup and I have never done a DIY project this vast. But am a DIY fix-it guy who is a Jack of all traits. I'm looking for tips/pointers, fixes, suggestions. One particular issue I am trying to resolve is the cabinet latches - I have two sets on each side of the mantle, but the way the cabinets open and latches work, the cabinets won't open/work because one latch will connect to the hinge-side of the door, but I love this latch style and need it for baby proofing.
