From my (very brief) understanding Brazil's economy is in a bad situation right now due to high unemployment levels, a weak Brazilian real and over population issues as well as the fact workers (specifically truckdrivers) will strike yet again very soon. I was wondering if I should invest in Brazilian stocks right now, they are on offer quite cheap but is their economy going to recover quite fast or anytime soon? or is it just going to keep plummeting
Are there any other reasons I am missing that have resulted in them being in such a bad state right now? Maybe there are other reasons that I have missed - would love to be informed by those who know.
Also is their economy likely to recover anytime soon (e.g 4/5 months) or will it be messed up for a much longer while. All answers are appreciated
