My soon to be e- wife and I don't have a lot of money maybe about a total of 70k in liquid + assets. I care about her well being and we have known each other and been best friends for a decade. I was hoping to get some opinions on what you all feel would be "fair" asset distribution before I let my emotions get to it.

The situation: I discovered she was cheating on me on Saturday, we were in the process of having a home built so we're out almost $3k in deposit. She feels and blames me for everything because I wasn't there a lot because of work. In the last year she hasn't worked. Then she assaulted me and is pending criminal charges. Then she fraudulently used my credit card which I reported. I feel really hurt and wronged and don't want to be really unfair. My emotions tell me that I want to give her nothing.

I'm not looking for relationship advice, it's over. I just want to have other opinions on the financial side as I'm trying to protect my assets but want to be fair. (I'm not abandoning the thread but I'll be in and out of my office at work today and it's been a very stressful week, I'm literally cool with short responses like "give her X%")
