Hi all,

I'm a 25 yr old with 60k USD in my bank (4k monthly savings) and zero balance in any saving account or any investments.

I am looking for recommendations on my draft portfolio in terms of %. As I have not been actively investing, I would like stay away from stocks right now and pick between ETFs and mutual funds. I do however plan on becoming more active.

From what I've read so far, I plan on: - Keeping 10k in my checking account - opening a savings account with Barclays that offers 1.85% interest py and parking 10k there - Invest the remaining 40k in the following ETFs (Option 1) - VOO - large cap - 20% - VOX - communication - 10% - VHT - health care - 10% - VGT - IT - 20% - VDE - Energy - 5% - VNQ - Real estate - 5% - MGT - mega cap - 10% ETFs (Option 2) - VOO - 60% - MGT - 10%

Mutual funds - VMGRX - Mid cap - 10% - VSGAX - small cap - 10% - VYMI - international high yield - 10%

The above investing plan, I am planning to execute in two stages: 50% now and 50% one month later.

With my monthly savings, I am planning on dialing up my 401k and every month investing 50% in stocks and spreading out the remaining 50% amongst the ETFs depending on their part month's performance. As I get more comfortable with stocks, I plan to dial up the monthly share of stocks investments.

Some points for discussion: - How is my ETF selection? Should I go with option 1 or 2 or maybe an option 3 that I have not considered? - My mutual funds are selected based on market that will be hard for me to follow. Is investing into these mutual funds wise? - Are we in a bear market or a bull market? Should I invest all my money now or wait? - How is my passive investment strategy? Is it too diverse?

Thanks a lot!
