My 1970s thermos King Seely ,still used daily, I helped someone renovate an old house that had been boarded up for 20 years, and everything was still in it from the 70s, these old vaccume bottles need a simple repair, there is a spacer under the bottle, that keeps pressure on the bottle seal, the rubber on these metal spacers deteriorates , and the bottle no longer seals, allowing fluid to get between the plastic and vaccume bottle. If you unscrew the bottom, take out the spacer and bottle and clean everything, then replace the rubber material, it will seal again. I used self adhesive cork material . The upper o rings on these, are usually in great shape. https://imgur.com/a/9qEQyc5
