Hi all, I realize this is not the main focus of this sub, but I'm hoping it's not too distant of a topic either.I have decorative 19th century furniture and woodworms are eating it to pieces. It has had bug holes in it as far as I remember, but recently fresh ones started appearing in alarming numbers. I have tried inserting an anti bug chemical into the holes with a medical syringe, which results in tons of dead bugs on the floor but doesn't stop new holes from appearing.I know it's possible to have the furniture decontaminated with gamma rays in special chambers, but that's not something I can really afford right now. The house is old and very humid, which probaly doesn't help either. I have bought an electrical dehumidifier but it barely drops the humidity by a few %. What else can I do? Any tips will be greatly appreciated!Pictures of furniture: https://ift.tt/2KoT8Ya via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2MgyHyq
