Hi all, quick question. Sometimes when I go to buy a stock, Robinhood makes me deposit more than the stock costs. For example, I went to buy a share of Facebook this morning at $172 a share, and Robinhood stated: Not enough funds available, please deposit $180 to complete transaction.
Why is this? What happens to that $8 difference?
