I am going to be building a 200 square foot deck that is 4 feet from the ground (4 feet high). I am going with black aluminum railings with thin black aluminum ballisters for sure. I am finding it a tough time deciding what material my deck should be made from. I will go with Moisture Shield Composite if I go that route or Cedar. In addition, I have heard that Trex, Timbertech, and other brands are not as good as Moisture Shield for composite so that is why I will choose Moisture Shield if I go that route. Also, I live in Canada and want a material that will last a long time and look good. I know composite is maintenance free other than the occasional power wash and I know that it cost significantly more than cedar. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2P14zJ2
