I had no idea it was a really big deal to not be exact on a credit card application. When applying in the past I have had commission jobs where I put down expected incomes etc, I am always more generous because I could have a good year. The problem, is now I have started defaulting on my cards, I didn't intend this or overextend myself, I just literally have no work. I want to work and pay everything back, but right now I just don't have it.
I read something that said people can get jail time for not telling the truth on credit card applications, is this really a thing? I never lied intentionally, or tried to defraud any credit card companies, but if I had to prove my income for the last 10 years if asked I would be hard pressed to match up with the applications I have put out there.
