I signed up for Social Security Retirement and it gave me and estimate of $1500 a month in benefits stating in December 2018. At this point it is just an estimate, not a firm figure. I understand this will come later in a letter from the Social Security Administration.
Their final estimate is based on current information just 3-4 months from actually getting the money.
When you applied for Social Security Retirement Benefits was the estimate of your benefits real close to what you actually got in your first month? How close was it?
