I'm from the US, though I'd like to get a bachelors degree at a Sheridan College in Ontario. The thing is, Sheridan College doesn't offer federal student aid for international students, and so I'd have to get a private student loan if I wanted to be accepted.

Both of my parents have terrible credit history so I know the chances of this are already unlikely but -- my mother said she might sign as the co-signer of a private student loan (my father however, is absolutely not willing to).

I personally have no credit history whatsoever, and have never touched a credit card. Never really wanted to touch a credit card, but I really really really want to go to this school.

Is there anything I can do to receive a private student loan to go to an international school, without any credit history, and without a co-signer? Does anyone know of any institution that would still offer me a loan despite those circumstances? Or does anyone know what I could try to do to still get a loan? I really don't know what's available, if anything...

Cheers guys. I'd appreciate some help if any of you could. :)
