I don't really follow growth funds, but am interested in what people infer from this reduction in holdings. Obviously its a loss of confidence, but given the nature of growth funds and their potential reliance on momentum, could this suggest that the managers see the momentum stopping here?
Here's a link to the article. It says the divestitures occurred before the buyout tweets; I can only imagine they will continue unloading if they thought something was a miss or changed prior to.
